In association with the University of applied Management, Business Psychology, AAA Founders, a venture capital fund in foundation, is looking for students (M.A.) in the areas of Economics, Psychology, or Business Psychology who are interested to support us in our research on success criteria of start-up founders with a focused Master Thesis.

The general research goals of the Master Thesis are:

• Identify key metrics that correlate with the success of start-ups, including e.g. biographical data, personality-related metrics, skill-related metrics, and cohesiveness within the founder team
• Develop an operational model that defines heuristics to measure, test, and validate key metrics, e.g. by applying market-proven testing principles to quantify metrics
• Cross-validate the results of 1) and 2) by conducting qualitative interviews with 5-10 research experts in the field

Applicants will get access to AAA’s resources and have the chance to participate in the building of a quant VC that will outperform conventional VCs applying scientific principles.

AAA is a VC Fund in foundation that plans to make investments in start-up companies (pre-seed and seed) based on data-driven algorithmic decisions that quantify a founder’s abilities to start, operate, grow and exit a business. Using proprietary algorithms, AAA is able to identify the most capable founders globally applying unbiased scientific principles.
